Please review the following information and contact Andrew Copeland with any feedback. Please bear in mind the following if questioning why you do not have a game:
Reasons you don't have a game:
1. You have a school game scheduled
2. You have a free week booked
3. You do not have a home ground available and all teams which do have other opponents
4. Your home ground is shared and is being used by another team
5. There is an odd number of teams in your division so 1 has to be spare

Cup draws and ongoing fixtures
As most non-AL cups begin in October we are waiting for their draws to be released before scheduling fixtures for October. If we schedule before these are released we usually have to start again when they are released, which causes confusion and extra work.
Once cup draws are available we will look to schedule the rest of the fixtures until the end of the year.

Why don't we play home/away/home/away like Premier League teams?
In an ideal world everyone we'd do this and everyone would have played more or less the same number of games throughout the season. However, the following issues impact this and make it difficult to achieve:
1. Cup draws - both because they dictate whether a team is at home or away but also because, where teams share a pitch slot, if one team has a home cup tie, the other team cannot play at home on that day. Also, if 1 team in a 10-team division has a cup tie, 1 other will have to sit out for that week.
2. Ground availability - some grounds become available later than others. In the mean time, we need to get games played so if you have a ground from the start, you may find yourself with a run of home games. Equally, some grounds are not available at specific times of year or on particular weekends which means the teams which play on them must play away, and teams who do have pitches available will be at home.
3. The weather! Some grass pitches do not fare well when it's wet which mean games are called off. While we endeavour to get them relocated and played, it's not always possible and they are called off.
