FixturesThe team's Primary Contact (see below) will receive a notification email from Full-Time whenever a fixture is scheduled, amended or cancelled.
Fixtures are set several months in advance but are always subject to change, primarily due to the impact of cup competitions (where, by definition, you don't know who is playing in one round until the previous round is played). Please do NOT assume you have no fixture on a given date just because none is showing. We may be able to confirm that a date will be free, but unless you have had a free week request agreed please assume that a fixture may be scheduled. We do endeavour not to add fixtures less than 14 days in advance, but we cannot control external competitions such as AFA, Old Boys and LOB Cups. |
RefereesThe team's Primary Contact (see below) wil receive a notification email from Full-Time whenever a refereeing appointment is made, amended or cancelled.
In the event that no League appointed official is available the teams must choose a referee from among those present, with the onus being on the home side to ensure the game goes ahead. For season 2022-23 we were able to cover 91% of our fixtures with League appointed officials, compared to a national average at our level of 64%, so we do pretty well. However, we are always on the look out for new referees. If you find anyone who might be interested, please refer them to our website to register - there is a button on the home page for registration. |
Preparing for a fixtureIn the week leading up to each match the home team must contact the opposition and the referee (and any assistants) to confirm the following information:
If you wish to change the venue and/or kick-off time from the default logged with the League you must get the agreement of the opposition, the referee and the League. |
Prior to the MatchYou must provide the referee with a teamsheet not less than 20 minutes prior to the start of the match.
The teamsheet must include shirt numbers and full names of all players, whether they participate or not. The home should offer the referee payment (£45 per match) prior to the match, although (s)he is not obliged to accept it at this stage (some referees prefer you to keep it safe until after the match). Either way, you should make sure the referee is paid, either in cash or by bank transfer, before (s)he leaves the venue. NB. Repeat substitutions are permitted with a maximum of 3 for open aged matches and 5 for veterans matches. |
After the MatchThe home team should ensure that all parties know where hospitality will be provided.
You should also ensure that the referee is paid, if this has not already happened before the match. The SMS contact(s) will receive an SMS from Full-Time 15 minutes after the scheduled kick-off time with instructions on how to report the result. At least one of the SMS Contacts must reply to this SMS to report the result in the format of home-score, "-", away score. If a person is the SMS Contact for more than one team, the team code must also be included. This will be included in the instructions. The club must then submit the teamsheet either via Full-Time or the Matchday App. |
Primary ContactOne Primary Contact can be assigned to each team. This person will receive email notifications from Full-Time as explained above (see Fixtures and Referees). In order to be assigned as a Primary Contact, a person must first be assigned to a Team Role (as opposed to Club Role) in the Whole Game System. The roles which qualify are Team Secretary, Team Manager and Team Coach.

SMS ContactsEach team can have two SMS Contacts. In order to be assigned as an SMS Contact, a person must first be assigned to a Team Role (as opposed to Club Role) in the Whole Game System. The roles which qualify are Team Secretary, Team Manager and Team Coach.
